Steven Fridman (Lima, PE, 1973)
Steven Fridman is a multidisciplinary artist. His neo-conceptual works are the result of reflections on significant changes related to beliefs, behaviors, ways of thinking and global challenges presented by our era.
He has participated in group and individual exhibitions in Lima and in 2018 at Pinta Miami. In 2021 he participated in the Cusco Art Biennial.
Statement: «My vision of art is transdisciplinary. I want to tell stories that question the inherited cultural and socio-political norms that prevent us from moving forward as a society. For me, art is not only capable of prefiguring but also of configuring the political realm».

Steven Fridman es una artista multidisciplinario. Sus obras neo-conceptuales son resultado de reflexiones sobre cambios significativos relacionados con creencias, comportamientos, formas de pensar y desafíos globales que presenta nuestra era.
Ha participado en exposiciones grupales e individuales en Lima y el 2018 en Pinta Miami. El 2020 participó en la Bienal de arte de Cusco.
Declaración: «Mi visión del arte es transdisciplinar. Quiero contar historias que cuestionen las normas culturales y socio-políticas heredadas que impiden que avancemos como sociedad. Para mí el arte no solo es capaz de prefigurar sino también de configurar el ámbito de lo político».
